Pyra/Mythra

STRENGTHS • Mythra: Extremely fast, great mobility, strong neutral, excellent frame data • Pyra: Huge hitboxes, massive damage, and kill power • Can switch forms to cover different situations • Strong ledgetrapping and advantage state • Excellent burst options and aerial pressure WEAKNESSES • Mythra struggles to consistently kill without Pyra • Pyra is slower and easier to whiff punish • Both are relatively large and can be comboed • Recovery can be vulnerable, especially when forced low • Form switching can be punished if predictable • Their best buttons often have very specific ranges SPACING • Mythra wants to play midrange, threatening with fast tilts, aerials, and burst movement • Pyra prefers close to midrange, where her large hitboxes and kill power are most threatening • Stay outside their strongest button range and punish overextensions • Don't mindlessly challenge Mythra's fast aerial pressure • Against Pyra, bait her big swings rather than trying to trade WIN CONDITIONS • Mythra wins neutral → racks up damage → switches to Pyra • Pyra wins an interaction → ledgetrap → kill • Catch landings with Mythra's speed • Use Pyra's huge hitboxes to cover defensive options • Force predictable recovery routes • Repeatedly win center stage and keep Aegis in disadvantage COUNTERPLAY • Track which form is active and adjust your risk accordingly • Stay patient against Mythra. Don't swing first just because she's nearby • Punish Pyra's whiffs and force her to approach • Force Aegis offstage. Their recovery is much less threatening when they can't freely reset neutral • Pressure their landings rather than chasing every aerial • Punish predictable switches, especially when they're trying to escape disadvantage • At high percent, respect Pyra's kill range and avoid unnecessary trades • Keep center stage whenever possible
