Her dash animation is the best in the game, as her body essentially pancakes as she becomes a squid in the ink. For example, when inkling dashes and becomes a squid, she ducks under all of robin's projectiles coming from neutral b, which is our main way of dealing with grounded opponents. implimenting more use of falling Aerials and down tilt is recommended. Treat shielding the same as you would in the palutena MU for the most part, they are either looking for a grab or just gonna tap your shield with a bair and use their movement to make committing to an option hard (both dashing in and out and going over your shield still pressuring a bair).

Inkling doesn't have the best landing options, they are all short and stubby, so punish roller if they fall with that, wait and punish airdodge, and just keep them in the air, preferably with their back not faicng you as bair is the longest range tool they have. they don't have great kill confirms, so you will live to higher percents, capitalize off this with being a much more defesnvive character. ink isn't the most important thing on their kit, they have great damage output even if they dont' have ink on you, do not underestimate. But still watch out for ink as it does increase damage by a lot. all the more reason to stay defensive.
